January 2026 Recently, an email went out from our executive director, Joel, announcing the Board of Directors' decision to dissolve the MissioSERVE Alliance nonprofit corporation. Although we considered a merger with another ministry, the Board ultimately determined that dissolving was the best path forward. Bill's focus is on serving and finishing well. Working closely with Joel, we are preparing to be fully closed by June 30th of 2026. Helping the staff, missionaries, and their churches transition to other organizations is our main priority, and because Joel has been tasked with being the last man standing. Bill and Debby are free to move on sooner rather than later. We will continue to be paid through MissioSERVE Alliance until we decide on our next steps. SO, what are WE doing? God is already ahead of us. While we wondered what ministry could look like, he was already bringing options our way, and we’d like to share them with you. We believe God is guiding us and have been praying daily for clarity. We ask you to join us in praying for clarity as well. Here are the opportunities we are exploring: In mid-November, we were made aware of a need at Radius International, in Tijuana, Mexico. The need is for a facilities manager for their three campuses, including maintenance of a fleet of vehicles and overseeing staff. They would also like a couple to lead community groups. We have sent in our application and are awaiting next steps, which could include a vision trip to Tijuana.  In early December, an offer was made to Bill while having lunch with his former boss at Chick-fil-A in Hernando County. The job is office manager, as well as providing pastoral care to the team members. Additionally, there would be opportunities for both of us to engage in more ministry at our home church, SonRise Community Church.  And lastly, in mid-December, a friend we went to Bible school with over 30 years ago reached out to us and told us of a critical need for the leadership of a mature Christian couple in Liberia, West Africa. After some initial meetings, we were asked and invited to come and make disciples through the roles of operations director and counselor. We have also been invited to visit Liberia next month with the executive director and president of the mission. There is, of course, much we don't know about this opportunity, but we are investigating.

We ask for your prayers as we navigate these opportunities. At times, the decision-making feels overwhelming, but we trust in the Lord’s sovereignty. Our goal is to love God fully and follow His lead, no matter where it takes us. We look forward to announcing our God-directed footsteps, and thank you for your prayers, support, and love.
